The Texas Oklahoma District of Kiwanis is not just a nonprofit organization, we are a family! Over the years many individuals have come together to support one another as well as support their community. Because of our connections and willingness to serve we have created a ripple of positive impact throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Together we can accomplish much more than on our own.

Kiwanis has been a success story for over 105 years in helping families and children in our local communities. We have great service programs and our clubs are fun! Check us out today and start the New Year with a new resolution to play a bigger part in your community through volunteerism and service. Plus, most of our clubs are holding dual Zoom / in person meetings so you can attend a meeting on your phone or computer from the comfort of your own home.

A lot of vets are members of our Kiwanis clubs. Over the decades, they helped build our organization in Texas and Oklahoma. Thank you for your service to our great country, and thank you for being a part of our teams.

KIWANIS AT WORK!
On February 20, 2020, the Jacksonville Kiwanis Club presented a check to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to fund the purchase of a Neonatal Ventilator for the CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital -Jacksonville Emergency Department.

Previously unequipped to property handle the delivery of a baby, CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital- Jacksonville has been making strides to best serve the community in times of emergency. With help from funding through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the Emergency Department is now better prepared to care for newborn babies, should the need arise.

“It doesn’t happen too often, but it does happen,” said Dwain Coates, clinical director of the Emergency Department, speaking of deliveries in the CHRISTUS ER, Jacksonville. “We delivered twins earlier this year. Sometimes people don’t know where else to go so they come here. We need to be best prepared to take care of the babies and the families who count on us.”
